Reconyx Hunting Cameras
When it comes to creating, producing, and selling digital game cameras, the leader is Reconyx. Legend has it that Reconyx got its start when TJ Stenger, a person with a passion for hunting, was given one of the first digital game cameras on the market by one of his employees. He was unhappy with the quality of pictures the camera was able to take. As fortune would have it, TJ Stenger was also owner of a successful software company.
He set out to make a better camera and the result is Reconyx, which was founded in 2002. There are two types of cameras produced by Reconyx. The first is RapidFire Recreational Models, designed for wildlife research and vacations. The second is RapidFire Professional Models, designed for effective wildlife scouting and surveillance.
There are three models of Reconyx cameras that are designed for recreational use. The Reconyx PC90 Covert camera provides 3.1 mega pixel color images by day. It uses covert infrared to provide a night vision range of up to 35 feet. You can also get a high output version of this camera to increase the night vision range up to 50 feet. You can also get the PC90 with a 1.7X telephoto lens.
The Reconyx PC85 provides 3.1 mega pixel color photos at day. At night, it creates monochrome infrared images with a range of up to 60 feet. You can get the PC85 with a 1.7X telephoto lens. The Reconyx PM75 takes 1.3 mega pixel monochrome photos by day or night. The night vision provides for a range of up to 50 feet. You can get the PM75 with 1 .7X telephoto lens.
When it comes to hunting, you can depend on Reconyx cameras to give you the edge you need. The MC65 Mathews® Solocam® digital cameras by Reconyx give you the advantage of having a night vision range of up to 50 feet. The camera gives off a very low glow, allowing you to see the animals but preventing them from seeing you. The Reconyx RC60 RapidFire™ Covert Color IR camera provides for a night vision range of up to 35 feet. There is a high output version of the camera that extends the range to 50 feet.
The Reconyx RC55 RapidFire™ Color IR camera offers you the advantage of an infrared night vision that extends out to 60 feet. Finally, the Reconyx RM45 RapidFire™ Mono IR camera offers quality 1.3 mega pixel monochrome pictures day or night. It has a night vision range of up to 50 feet.
